Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this survivor 1951 Packard 300. This patina'd Packard 300 sedan is a solid runner and ready for some restoration love or custom modification. The big inline eight runs well and the car drive pretty good. It can easily be driven daily as well.
The 300 series Packard represented the upper mid-range Packard model and provided better appointments than the Packard 200 or the Packard 250 models. Power for the car comes from Packard's venerable Super Eight engine, the 327-cubic-inch "Thunderbolt" inline eight. this 300 Packard is equipped with Ultramatic automatic transmission. The drivetrain is reported to have over 100k miles and still runs strong. Recent repairs include a new master cylinder, rebuilt starter, and electric fuel pump. the body has minor surface rust but no obvious signs of rot. The blue paint still has a nice patina, and the factory hubcaps look classy wrapped in fat white walls. The chrome is faded but all of the trim is there and can easily be restored. This 51 Packard 300 sedan is a neat "tinker while you drive" survivor, or candidate for easy restoration. Only 15k were made in 1951. These aren't often seen. Add this vintage sedan to your collection today.
