Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is excited to present this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda, a classic example of one of America's most famous, iconic, and recognizable racecars, that turns heads wherever it goes. Built to be driven on the street, you can experience the rare performance of a race hemi and also cruise to your favorite car show or drive-in.

The exterior paint on this Barracuda is stunning with multiple layers of Billet Silver paint applied by Rick Perry's Custom Paints. Equally impressive is the interior with a vibrant blue crushed pile carpet and tweed interior that creates a striking contrast to the dazzling Billet Silver exterior.

The build began after an exhaustive search for an ideal body. That search yielded an Arizona car that met those qualifications. From that point, John Wallauer, of John Wallauer Race Cars, completed the build. Owner states that since its completion in 2009, it has logged less than 100 miles and has won numerous first place and best of show awards, including First in Class at the prestigious Mopars At Big Daddy's Annual Car Show. It was also a feature car in Mopar Muscle Magazine.

Some owner stated features include:

-tuned by Randy Blanchard

-all factory body panels

-Reilly Motorsports coil-over front suspension

-Flaming River rack and pinion steering

-BeCool Polished Billet Aluminum Radiator with dual Spal fans

-World Hemi Block

-MSD ignition system

-Edelbrock aluminum heads

-Cam Motion hydraulic roller #X2291-2341-10

-correct Holly dual 770 carbs

-A&A aluminum cross ram intake

-JW Performance 727 transmission

-Gear Vendor Overdrive

-Narrowed Dana 60 w/ 323 gears

-JW Performance 2800 stall converter

-Fabricated aluminum fuel tank

-Aeromotive Phantom electric fuel system

-Widened rear rims

-Mini tubbed

...and much more.

In conclusion, this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda is a rare find, considering the quality of the build and the few numbers of these cars that are still in existence. Don't miss out on this opportunity to experience what famous Mopar race car drivers like Ronnie Sox experienced, but also cruise locally in your one-of-a-kind thoroughbred.
