This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 recently underwent a restoration that included a new paint job, interior, exhaust, suspension, 15-inch wheels, and BFGoodrich tires. As part of the process, the 351ci V8 and automatic transmission were rebuilt. Refinished in two-tone dark green and silver with silver striping over a black and silver vinyl interior, this Mach 1 is available now and comes with owner's manuals and a clear Texas title in the seller's name.

The exterior has been refinished in a two-tone combination of a dark green upper body and a silver lower body with silver hood, side, and rear end stripes. Features include a body-color front bumper, a black honeycomb grille, amber parking lamps, dual hood vents, a black honeycomb taillight panel, tri-bar taillights, a chrome rear bumper, and dual exhaust outlets. The car rides on a set of new 15-inch Magnum 500-style wheels and new BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

During the restoration, the interior was redone and furnished with black and silver vinyl front buckets, black vinyl rear seats, black door panels, a black dashboard, and black carpeting. Simulated woodgrain trim is located on the door panels and center stack. Features include a remote driver-side mirror, manual crank windows, a rebuilt clock, a push-button radio, and a floor-mounted automatic shifter. The trunk contains a patterned vinyl mat and a matching spare tire cover.

Vehicle information is displayed on a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, alternator, and coolant temperature. According to the seller, the odometer shows 130K miles, but the true mileage on the vehicle is unknown.

Under the hood is a rebuilt 351ci V8 with Holley Carb, which routes power to the road through a rebuilt automatic transmission and the rear wheels. The seller reports the car has only been driven 5000 miles since the restoration was finished. Braking power is provided by manual drums. The suspension and the dual exhaust system were replaced as part of the restoration. Additional photos of the underbody are available in the gallery.
